Our Instructors

Denise Jillian Tan

Denise Jillian Tan is a teaching artist with a degree in Fine Art from LASALLE College of the Arts, where she currently serves as a lecturer in Visual Studies.


With over 10 years of experience in art education, she is also the founder and lead teacher of The Fort Studios, where she has built an inviting space for enthusiasts and artists to experience the incandescent joy of art-making, anchored in her belief of student centered learning. 

Denise also won the category of Top 20 Singaporean Artists and Top 30 in Asia in the Sovereign Asian Art Prize in 2012 and is also the winner for 'Paint a Portrait Project' by NUS Society in 2014. 

Liao Junhui

Liao Junhui graduated with a degree in Fine Art at LASALLE College of the Arts.

Proficient in several art mediums, he has been an art educator for 10 years and has taught Visual Studies at LASALLE College of the Arts. 

Bridget Tay

Bridget Tay is an artist, curator and AMIS certified art educator with 10 years of teaching experience.

 

She attained her Masters of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014 and was a recipient of The LASALLE Scholarship in 2013. She is also the owner of The Bench Atelier, a creative services firm. 

Fazleen Karlan

Fazleen graduated with a BA in Fine Art at LASALLE College of the Arts. She is a printmaking major who has had over 6 years of teaching experience in various art organisations.

 

Fazleen is also a recipient of the Winston Oh Travel Award in 2016 and the Anugerah Cemerlang Mendaki (University) in 2019.

Leslie Low

Leslie graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, UOL. He is an artist represented by Y2ARTs and oil paint is his primary medium.


He was a commissioned based artist who focused extensively on portraiture with experience working with a big variety of styles and mediums.

Leslie a was also the winner of 'Paint a Portrait Project' by NUS Society in 2014.
