Denise Jillian Tan is a teaching artist with a degree in Fine Art from LASALLE College of the Arts, where she currently serves as a lecturer in the faculty of Fine Arts.

With over 10 years of experience in art education, she is also the founder and lead teacher of The Fort Studios, where she has built an inviting space for enthusiasts and artists to experience the incandescent joy of art-making, anchored in her belief of student centered learning. 

Denise also won the category of Top 20 Singaporean Artists and Top 30 in Asia in the Sovereign Asian Art Prize in 2012 and is also the winner for 'Paint a Portrait Project' by NUS Society in 2014. 


Art Instructor: Children Group Class & Private Classes

Bridget Tay is an artist, curator and AMIS certified art educator with 10 years of teaching experience.

She attained her Masters of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014 and was a recipient of The LASALLE Scholarship in 2013. She is also the owner of The Bench Atelier, a creative services firm and has previously taught Fine Arts as a Lecturer in LASALLE College of the Arts.

fazleen karlan

Art Instructor: Children Group Classes

Fazleen graduated with a BA in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts. She is a printmaking major who has had over 6 years of teaching experience in various art organisations.

Fazleen is also a recipient of the Winston Oh Travel Award in 2016 and the Anugerah Cemerlang Mendaki (University) in 2019. She has exhibited in several Art Galleries in Singapore as well as National Gallery Singapore.

Art Instructor: Adult Group Class & Private Classes

Veronical Kong is a local illustrator and art educator who graduated with a diploma in Fashion Design at LASALLE College of the Arts.

While being proficient in several art mediums, she also specializes in character illustration, concept art and digital art and had been an art educator for over 6 years with a formal training in fashion design and digital animation.

ayaka kato

Art Instructor: Children Group Class & Private Classes

Ayaka is a local Artist  who graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts. As a printmaking major, she has more than 3 years of experience working as an Artist assistant to several Japanese and local Artists and her artworks have been exhibited in Singapore, Japan and Indonesia.

With her previous experience as an editor for a lifestyle magazine, she is also attentive to detail, is well-versed in both Japanese and English and very familiar with the different mediums of art and communication design.

Wange is currently our youngest instructor, who is working to receive her Diploma in Fine Arts and yet, she has already been teaching for 2 years. 

Recognised for her talent, proficiency in drawing, painting and digital art, she has worked with Lianhe Zaobao creating movie based artworks and news related comics for the newspaper.
